Long time no post.
So, I made another thing. It's another retro-clone, to be precise. This one is called Micro Wars. It too is released under the OGL.

Warrior & Wizard now OGL
I have now released it under the Open Game License. The OGL version is here. It is now effectively dual-licensed, being under both the OGL and Creative Commons. Share and enjoy!
(If anyone is wondering, I mainly did it in order to add it to the OGL toolkit. It was already Free; it is still Free. The cool thing about OGL games is that they're mix and match under the OGL.)

Experience Points
There is now an experience point system in place. And with that, the game is now at what I consider "minimally complete" for playtesting purposes.

Some monsters are up
A few monsters are in place (there's a Bestiary section at the end which will slowly add more monsters).

What's left?
I need to finish the magic section. Specifically, the sections on Summoning, Illusions and Images, and whatever other parts still need attention.
I need to write up a bestiary of some kind. At minimum, the monsters that wizards can summon, plus a few others they're likely to encounter (lions in an arena, that kind of thing).
Experience points!
Maybe a small blurb on exactly what you can do with all of these. Arena fights and dungeons, mostly.

A milestone, of sorts
All of the spells from the basic version of the original game are entered, plus a smattering from the advanced version. I don't mind admitting that I had looked at the full, large spell list from the advanced game and became discouraged, because there were so many (going all the way up to INT 20!). I decided today to look at the basic game, and lo and behold there were only a few going up to 16. So they're in.
Once I have the Bestiary, Images and Illusions, and Summoning sections created and/or fleshed out, along with some miscellaneous other edits, I will increment the release number to 0.10 and call it a playtest release.
